When a turbine trips at a grid-response peaking plant, the gas supply system has milliseconds to stay within limits before a slam-shut valve takes the whole facility offline. Fingleton White modeled the complete gas system under four transient scenarios using xStream -- and validated every one before commissioning began. 

• All transient scenarios stayed below the 38.01 barg GNI slam-shut threshold
• Ramp-up pressures held above the 29 barg low-pressure alarm in every case
• 16.63 m³ pipe buffer confirmed sufficient across all modeled events
• Future expansion to 7 turbines validated without pipeline redesign
