Florham Park, NJ – October 2017 – Datacor, Inc., the leading developer and provider of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software solutions for Process Manufacturers and Chemical Distributors, recently announced an update to Chempax C/S that will easily assist users with compliance of the new EPCRA Tier II Reporting regulations.

In June of 2016, the U.S. EPA made changes to the EPCRA Tier II Reporting by replacing the current five hazard categories with much more extensive OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) categories. The new regulation becomes effective January 1, 2018 and by March 1, 2018 facilities are required to report the revised physical and health hazards for their hazardous chemicals present during the 2017 calendar year.

“As a result of these changes, the next Chempax C/S update (scheduled release: Q4 2017) will include the new 24 hazard classes required,” said Sean O’Donnell, President of Datacor, Inc. “We have created a Master Product DTU spreadsheet template that will help customers easily prepare for this update and the categorization of their products. Our goal is to make sure we provide all the functional requirements for compliance and assist to make that process seamless”.
