Changes that may affect engineering conclusions
-
Fixed an issue where User-Specified Valve Equivalent Loss values would be unused and overwritten in the simulation.
-
Fixed a problem where Cautions to apply pump viscosity corrections were erroneously displayed when water was being used in a heat transfer model.
-
Fixed bug where Slurry System Curves showing the Pump curve would report a different operating point than the intersecting location between those curves.
-
If a control valve which is "Always Control" and a check valve both failed on the same solver iteration, and the control valve would be able to control if the check valve was closed, it will do so, but an error message that the valve had to add pressure would continue to be displayed. This is now fixed.
-
Fixed a problem where the AOR and POR lines were not shown if the pump curve was at 100%.
-
Fixed a case where Fathom was incorrectly reporting Pressure Solver Limit warning.
Important non-engineering changes
-
The Specify Properties button was missing on the Pipe Material Library window.
-
Improved performance related to clearing Output once Output no longer exists - some Output clearing actions were happening repetitively when they only needed to happen once per clearage.
-
Fixed issue with Split Pipe feature not correctly connecting pipes to new junction.
-
Fixed an issue that would check out a duplicate Chempak Data license seat if the Chempak Viewer was launched while Chempak fluids were already in-use in the main application.
-
The first row of the transient data table for junctions is no longer cleared when switching to event based transients.
-
Fixed issue with undefined icon appearing in Slurry Definition -> Amount Solids Added when input was empty.
Miscellaneous changes
-
Some language localizations files had blank Workspace Layers abbreviation translations, resulting in Workspace labels with no corresponding abbreviation for the parameter value. Standard English abbreviations were added to the files for any parameters that had blanks in this field.
-
SSL: If the SSL module is disabled in a scenario, a message is given saying that the solid/slurry information will be deleted. Some of this data was not completely removed and caused some problems when a scenario was reloaded.
-
Fixed an issue where creating a Design Alert from output cells would cause system error.

Changes that may affect engineering conclusions
-
Fixed an issue where User-Specified Valve Equivalent Loss values would be unused and overwritten in the simulation.
-
Fixed an issue with false sonic choking messages and false flow convergence. Added several leg calculation local iteration error messages.
-
Fixed a problem with the Temperature Saturation and Superheat displayed in the Axial Point area which would only report the maximum temperature. The Inlet and Outlet values in the Pipe output were still correct.
-
Fixed an exception that could occur when flow reversed direction in a pipe when using the Lumped Adiabatic solution method in Arrow XTS.
-
Fixed an issue that would check out a duplicate Chempak Data license seat if the Chempak Viewer was launched while Chempak fluids were already in-use in the main application.
-
The first row of the transient data table for junctions is no longer cleared when switching to event based transients.

Fixed an issue where creating a Design Alert from output cells would cause system error.
-
Fixed a case where Pipe data would not copy Heat Transfer data to non-Heat Transfer pipe.

Changes that may affect engineering conclusions
- Added a runtime check to ensure all force components are included in force results. An advanced option allows disabling this standard behavior, and in rare cases the omission of components would have persisted without the advanced option on.
- Fixed an issue where User-Specified Valve Equivalent Loss values would be unused and overwritten in the simulation.
- Fixed an issue that could cause a pump to be treated as a boundary condition for certain pump configurations when using the option to ignore a defined transient event.
- Fixed Inertia field not being updated correctly and associated unit conversion error.
- Fixed an issue that could cause a misleading Valve Property Form Transient Graph to initially appear when opening models from a previous version of Impulse that had a Special Condition set on the given Valve.
Important non-engineering changes
-
Fixed decimal separator errors when using Pipe Filling/Draining.
-
The Specify Properties button was missing on the Pipe Material Library window.
-
Fixed issue preventing Color Maps from playing and recording.
-
Improved performance related to clearing Output once Output no longer exists - some Output clearing actions were happening repetitively when they only needed to happen once per clearage.
-
Fixed issue with Split Pipe feature not correctly connecting pipes to new junction.
-
Fixed issue where control valve was being flagged as undefined in Steady-State simulation when Always Control During Steady-State option was selected.
-
Fixed issue with drawing isometric grid lines.
-
Fixed an issue that would check out a duplicate Chempak Data license seat if the Chempak Viewer was launched while Chempak fluids were already in-use in the main application.
-

-
Fixed an issue where creating a Design Alert from output cells would cause system error.
-
Disable Gas Vent Properties on Orifice and Valve unless Exit is checked in Properties Window because Gas Vent properties are used when Exit option is selected.
-
Disabled animation in Workspace Layer when Max or Min values are selected as these do not change throughout animation.
