Adding Laboratory Management to the Datacor Portfolio
In 2025, Datacor strengthened its portfolio by adding Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) capabilities through the acquisition of Baytek International. With laboratory testing at the core of chemical manufacturing, the acquisition equips Datacor to deliver stronger quality control for process industries. Datacor's new laboratory solutions, BLISS LIMS and BLISS SQC+, connect sample and specification management, automated regulatory workflows, and audit-ready quality data. Alongside ERP, MES, and formulation, Datacor LIMS brings large-scale industrial laboratory testing and documentation expertise to provide even greater compliance controls.
Continued AI Investment
After announcing our first set of AI capabilities in the Winter 2026 Launch, Datacor is delivering more AI functionality this release, extending AI capabilities to new use cases, and adding brand-new AI-driven products. This includes early access to Datacor DataLab, a managed data lake with pre-built, persona-based dashboards, and our new Chemical Database, which leverages AI agents to search and structure regulatory records from dozens of global databases, then routes them to chemical experts for verification.

It draws on major regulatory sources to keep formulation and compliance teams working from current data rather than manual cross-checks. Regulatory document and compliance automation continues to mature with this launch, reducing manual steps for compliance documentation.
CRM: AI Enhancements for Sales and Field Teams
AI-generated summaries pull together account activity across customers, products, suppliers, and sales groups. Field teams can review or listen to customer account summaries instead of digging through activity history. A native Outlook plug-in automatically matches every open email to its CRM account, contact, and opportunities, capturing sales activity without any extra data, keeping account context visible. Configurable, drag-and-drop dashboards let any team build and save the view they need, with role-based defaults to start from, so decisions run on current data instead of stale, one-size-fits-all reports.
MES and WMS: Faster from Plant Floor to Field
On the plant floor, this launch brings MES refinements for continuous batching and tighter handoffs between formulation and execution, so batches move with less manual intervention and fewer handoff delays.
WMS warehouse operations get two updates for this launch. The introduction of LPN support gives teams better visibility and control over pallets and yard activity. In addition, Datacor is releasing the first phase of enhanced pick and put-away features, designed to cut travel time and put inventory where it is needed –faster.
TrackAbout: New Efficiency Features
TrackAbout's route optimization gets sharper with this launch, providing delivery and asset-tracking teams with more efficient routes to cut wasted drive time. Customers also get a boost with AI-powered dashboards to surface delivery trends, order patterns, and asset utilization.
Animal Nutrition: Enhanced Usability and Reporting
Ara™ Formulation: Dynamic Calculations protect nutrient intellectual property, ensuring that your nutritionists and formulators always work with the most current values, based on the most current data. Medication compendium updates keep new and updated medication claims current in Ara automatically, so label creation stays aligned to regulations without manual tracking compendium changes.
Pennent® Mill Manager (PMM): Shipment Quality Checks catch shipment quantities that fall outside your allowed variance before they post and flow downstream into your accounting system. New Stock Count Variance Reporting removes the need for manual reconciliation and allows for tracking stock counts directly and completely in PMM.
Datacor Laboratory Solutions (BLISS): Quality Testing for Laboratory Teams
Datacor Laboratory Solutions includes LIMS and SQC software that connects sample and specification management, automated workflows, and audit-ready quality data across the process industry. This investment in lab and quality workflows provides enhanced regulatory controls, reporting, and enables customers to proactively respond to changes and variations, reducing costly downstream impacts.
Engineering (CHEMCAD & Flow Simulation): Engineering Procession at Scale
CHEMCAD and Flow Simulation both received performance and compute upgrades this launch, giving engineers faster, more precise simulation work.
CHEMCAD's latest launch deepens its reach into LNG and alternative marine fuels, supporting the shift toward low-carbon shipping. The launch also brings clearer visibility into distillation column behavior, improving design and diagnosis. Paired with broad stability and workflow refinements, it reflects CHEMCAD's ongoing commitment to reliability.
Flow Simulation's four products — Fathom, Arrow, Impulse, and xStream — all shipped new versions this launch, built on a major investment in performance, and licensing standardization. This launch delivers models running 1.8x faster on average, a move to modern 64-bit architecture for improved reliability, and over 300 bug fixes, including every issue affecting engineering results. It also introduces Zentitle2, our new license management platform, giving customers direct control over managing their own licenses through a self-service End User Portal.
