Phase 1: Scope

The engagement is sized against your system inventory, not a standard package.

Datacor

  • Reviews your source system inventory, record volumes, and current batch record format

  • Sizes the server, license, and Genealogy licensing where multiple historians or MES sources feed one server

  • Defines the phase plan and the handover criteria before work begins

Your team

  • Supplies the source system list with versions

  • Provides a sample of your current batch record and the review workflow you use today

  • Provisions the server or virtual machine

Phase 1: Scope

Phase 2: Connect

Connectivity is verified against live production data before any record design starts.

Datacor

  • Installs and configures the server, including co-installation on Application Stations where applicable

  • Configures connectors to each source system in scope

  • Sets up InfoETL for instruments, skids, and HMIs with no OPC or ODBC interface

  • Verifies retrieval from every source against live data

Your team

  • Grants read access to automation systems, historians, LIMS, MES, and ERP

  • Provides service accounts and network access

  • Identifies which instruments and skids are in scope

Phase 2: Connect

Phase 3: Configure and Qualify

Records are configured with your engineers in the room, so knowledge transfers during the build.

Datacor

  • Configures the initial record set alongside your staff

  • Structures Library Manager for reuse across products, process variants, and sites

  • Configures AutoGen triggers, limits, and exception reporting

  • Supplies IQ/OQ/PQ documentation support and configuration documentation for your qualification package

Your team

  • Defines record content, limits, and site layout standards

  • Assigns the engineers who will own configuration after go-live

  • Owns the validation plan, authors and executes the protocols, and makes the release decision

Phase 3: Configure and Qualify

Phase 4: Train and Launch

Training happens before go-live, not after the first problem.

Datacor

  • Delivers Introductory Training for report authors

  • Delivers Advanced Training for configurators who need library, AutoGen, and troubleshooting depth

  • Provides reviewer and administrator orientation

  • Supports first production record generation and AutoGen trigger verification

Your team

  • Nominates attendees by role and schedules them ahead of go-live

  • Runs the parallel period against your current reporting method

  • Signs off on the comparison before the current method is retired

Phase 4: Train and Launch

Phase 5: Operate and Own

The engagement closes when your team configures a record without calling us.

Datacor

  • Confirms your staff can configure a new record independently

  • Provides support access for administrators and report authors

  • Delivers product updates with backward compatibility maintained across releases

  • Plans version upgrades around your change control calendar

Your team

  • Configures the next record set independently

  • Owns day-to-day configuration, user administration, and change control on record changes

  • Schedules upgrades and executes requalification

Phase 5: Operate and Own

InfoBatch 4.0 Video Tutorial Library

View our library of on-demand tutorial videos to help enhance your knowledge and skills. Videos offer quick skills building and are only about 7-15 minutes each.

Introductory InfoBatch Training

Five half-day remote sessions offer hands-on exercises in data sources, report output, and administration. You finish having configured a report from scratch.

Advanced InfoBatch Training

This in-person, 3-day course covers architecture, hierarchy queries, library management, AutoGen triggers, and troubleshooting. Requires working knowledge of SQL, XML, HTML, CSS, XSLT, and XPath.

Consulting Resources

Release Cycle Assessment

We work with your team to find where batch release time is going, using your own production history. Together, we identify the stages and exception types slowing release, and what to address first.

Data Readiness Assessment

We help you confirm your equipment, alarm systems, automation system, historian, LIMS, and MES data can support a compliant record before you commit to a project, and we work with your team on a gap list and a remediation plan.

Record Library Rationalization

We work with your team to consolidate years of one-off report configurations into Library Manager components, so you retire duplicates and maintain one standard with a smaller validation surface.
